Mascara

When I was in Sabah my sister Rozaline asked me… "Ko mo kasi kriting kirop ka?” (do you want to perm your lashes?) I was like… How the hell is that??? I never did that in my life. Why should I? What’s wrong with my lashes…? I mean of course they aren’t like those Latins’ eye lashes but there is this thing called mascara where we can prolong the eye lashes. But when I applied on mine… duh!!! Not much different….

… before anything.....

... mascara applied. Spot any difference?
P/S: Jgn tinguk lama2 nanti mulau tu mata pandai juling…. Hehe…
Ciao~ a presto

My nieces (in JB)

So tell me frankly, which one of them will be the next ‘Unduk Ngadau’? They are my 5th Sister Angeline’s daughters. Aged 8 – 18 (2005).

Happy Bday Angie

Angie (my bro’s fiance) chose to celebrate her 29th bday at my place… I have no idea why??? They (bro & Angie) suddenly came to my house with a cake and a box of Mandarin orange. “It’s my bday..” she said… and I thought for awhile.. oh yes… I remembered she is also a Januarian. But I didn’t remember the exact date. So I said… “alalala… sia lupa oo… sia teda beli present ni… napa tdk kastau awal2?” I just hope she won’t suspect it was just my excuse. Because I know she always remembers my bday and she got me a present every year since 2002. I really forgot about her bday and it was not an excuse. We had pizza … my cuz Neil (from my father’s side) yg blanja… hehehe… 8 x RM25 pizzas + 5 bottles pepsi + service charge = RM225++ It would be too much for me. I will never blanja people that much la… And guess what??? I didn’t even take any photos of the bday girl. But I took her video. Anyway, view the other photos. Ciao` A presto.

Libro di Totti

If you know the Italian soccer like I do, u probably heard this one before ‘All the Jokes about Totti’. The book was published and sold for 10 EURO per copy. Each 1EURO will go to Africa Children Welfare under UNICEF. Totti was one of the UNICEF Ambassadors. I got this book from Fabio of Napoli, through Dario. I was dying to own this book. Knowing that it is not in the Malaysian market, I request it from my Italian friend. And there, he got it for me. I can say that I could be the only Malaysian who owns this book. I read it and only understood 25% These are some of the jokes… I translated into English… 1) Totti at the railway station inquiring…. Totti: Excuse me Ma’am, how long does it take to Milano from Roma? Ma’am at the counter: One moment please…… Totti: Thank you. And he left. 2) After three months, Totti completes his jigsaw puzzle. And proud to see his job, smiling while looking around the box and then he saw written… “FOR 3 – 5 YEARS” He said… “Ahh… I am a genius… I completed only in 3 months.” 3) Totti was standing outside the veranda… his girlfriend Ilary, called him… “Amò, come inside it is raining…” And Totti replied… “It is raining outside here too!” Pic 1: Sold for EURO10 = RM70 including shipping. Pic 2: The jokes.
Pic 3: More pages. Ok until then… I hope you’re laughing. ciao`…. a presto.

No Internet in the office

Last Tuesday (11 Jan) in the office, our internet connection was down. The IS Admin from Singapore told me that he will come to JB today (12 jan) to fix the connection. IT IS VERY2 UNUSUAL WITHOUT SUMANDAK.COM So I went home early, at 5pm SHARPER than usual Hehehe…. I reached home at 5.15pm and it was too early to prepare dinner. Vianey & Lora were having shower. I lay on the sofa took a nap while listening songs (Air Supply & MLTR) for 1 hour. And when I opened my eye, I saw something ‘orange’ so bright on the wall it was coming from the sun through the window. So I took a picture of the sun, but not a good one. Pic: A sunset in JB.

My Home (not) sweet home (because it is) in JB (not Sabah)

Take a look!!!! This is where I live in the South peninsula Malaya… a housing estate called Taman Molek, not so many people, unlike Inanam loaded with ‘beings’. Pic: If U, by chance happened to bump into a grass cutter, please give him my telephone number. U saw the mailbox? What can U see there? :laf:  View the mailbox and other photos… Where???? Well… U guess? Ciao` a presto...

My SERIE A Collection

I am so proud to have owned all these Italian jerseys. Please view the gallery. These are my favourite, there are a few more in my closets I just won’t show’em all… Hehehe… Ciao` a presto…

“Fred, I was there; but you were closed.”

Alfredo’s restaurant in Kolombong, a name after Taiwanese Pop Band F4’s Vic. When I was in Sabah, I took the chance to visit my old & good friend; Alfredo. He went back to KK from JB to start the business in 2003. It was my only chance to taste the drink he invented (as he claimed) but when I went there, the restaurant was closed. It was 2nd January 2005, 9.30 am. Sunday. Suupan! Taapun! Ciao`

The Disaster 31 Dec 2004

It was a bad 2004 for my family. Our 11 units houses were burnt, due to carelessness of a tenant it destroyed the whole building. And it would still be ok about the 11 units, but the disaster also took a 'life' of a person who did not get the chance to see 2005. My condolences to his family. May HIS soul Rest In Peace! 30 more or less people plus children are homeless, IMAGINE!!! Losing not only homes but clothing, TVs, livestocks & other belongings;even cash perhaps. I hope and pray for everyone that this 2005 will bring better luck! Amen. View Gallery for photos!

Happy New Year!

ok.. sorry for not writing since last year... hehehe...I just got back from home town and first thing I must update is my job. Now I have a little time and must update this page so that my sweetheart in Napoli can read what I have been doing in his favourite land other than Italy which is BORNEO. 24 th Dec 2004 3.30 pm : I arrived KK. Audrey, Bronson & Alex were there waiting for me. Bronson (Audrey's (my niece) bf) was very quiet and shy... so was I... first time... 6.30 pm : I had family dinner at Doreen's (eldest sister)house at Nosoob Penampang. < 9.30 pm : All of us went to Sacred Heart Cathedral, KK. 11.50 pm : Went back to Doreen's and distributed our xmas presents. 25 Dec 2004 Merry Christmas I tried to call my sweetheart but the line seemed busy. So I forget about it later, and didn't manage to call him back. It was only 17.00 pm the 24th in Italy. 00.00 Carols, photos, chit chat, drinks, and lap lap fu. 11.30 am : Everyone got up and got ready for Borneo Paradise (kinarut) 12.30 noon : We reached the resort and as expected, a quiet and lonely resort waititng for me and my family to cheer it up. We had lunch.... nah.... no good... the food was aweful. And plain water to drink... but at least it's cold & icy. Later in the evening... I had a little karaoke xmas songs with my sisters.. Josephine & Rozaline. Then we began our Xmas Hat competition... in-charge by me.. it was a memorable & colourful, I saw my Dad (he is 72 yr old) dancing performing the hat infront of the camera man.. and I can see that he is so happy! The kids were only interested on the swimming pool due to the hot weather. That night is the whole-year-waited-night of Bollywood Night! That's the family theme for this year! Bollywood Night!!! Mamma mia... all of the family... men.. women.. kidss... dressed up like Indians. And the funniest is... my sister Katherine.. applied charcoal on her face, hands and legs so that she would looked as dark as a Sourthern Indian.. people will call that as insulting if she did that in Johor. But it was cute and creative and most of all.. a memorable moment. I began to lost my voice that night too much laughters.... cheering... I formed a choir group with ol`bro Tehot and Sis Rozaline. We sang 'Merry Merry Christmas by NKOTB'we practised a few times before the competition, and then we spot to 3rd placing. Is cosidered good, because the rest of the group has been practising for the past few months.:laf: I agreed with the judging for this competition... which is the La Combi... winning number 1... hehehe... singing 'Feliz Navidad' with both hands holding a can of Tiger Beer & a candle. And then, there is this dancing competition... I like the Lobindo's (my cousin Maureen and her two daughters, Nora & Irene)...maybe because I like the songs better... 'Breaking the rules by Alex To' and they did the 'Parapara Sakura' step. Real joy! I tell you. Other than that, I also like to see the JASNBI group...they danced with spirit... hehehe.. like a celebration of a small tribe from outerspace. But it's good... the costumes... wow!! And the ADAAAB... hehehe... nice costumes.. the reigning champion and still... What more can I say? Words alone couldn't describe how joyful our 2004 Christmas was!! I hope that the rest of the family member in Johor will be able to go home to KK for Xmas 2005. It's a satisfaction guaranteed. Are u still reading??? Till here?? Wow!! Salute to u... hehehe... (Sorry bout my broken English.. I hope u can still understand!) Christmas Eve Dinner The last time I came to Sacred Heart this satute was not there. And now... it's standing amzingly. Staute of Jesus in Sacred Heart Cathedral.
