KOTOBIAN TADAU TAGAYO DO KA'AMATAN

To my 'dearest'... baa.. kogutan la dia hari2 ni... ndapa la... itu memang suda adat gia... apamcm lagi sia mau buat...<

To my family... hmm.. well actually family sia not really into this ka'amatan festivals... we never felt sinful when we ignore the festivals... unlike Christmas.. if we ignore Christmas, there is 'sorry' in us. BUT, I guess it's time to celebrate Ka'amatan... 'OUR VERY OWN KA'AMATAN' beginning next year la... cari idea dulu... 1 tahun 3 celebration.. CNY in January, Ka'amatan in May and then Christmas in December. OK baa kan... suda gia jadi CHINESE + KADAZANDUSUN dan CHRISTIAN... terpaksa la celebrate 3 events annually.

IF during CNY we gather.. bagi angpau.. terima angpau... main judi sampai pagi...pakai baju merah... bikin accessories rambut...and then during Christmas.. kita decorate xmas tree, pasang lagu2 xmas, we go to churh, we eat grilled turkey, carols, presents, concert....

Why don't during ka'amatan... instead of going to 'balairaya' or 'Hongkod'... kita pigi camping.. like we did in 1994 - 1995 di Karambunai... (MASA TU NEXUS RESORT PUN BELUM ADA LAGI TAU!!!) =) siok bai tu.... ada tampat snorkling lagi... haih.. JOHOR IS A BORING PLACE!

Dulu family sia ada pigi camping sana Kiulu, somewhere in 1999 or 2000... tapi sia teda ikut... now sia regret pula... sia nda pernah pigi Kiulu.... :( That was the last time family sia pigi camping...I guess laa..

Other than Karambunai & Kiulu... kami suda camping di TVRC (chalet), Pedas River, Pantai Manis dan lain2 sia tia tau atau sia tia ingat....

sejak sia wujud sampai la 1999... kami celebrate xmas di rumah saja.... abis masa tu.. tlampau ramai budak2.. dan kami bulum mampu mau pigi outing... skrg suda lain, most of us suda bekerja, mampu suda kunun mau pigi outing...

Eh... panjang suda sia tulis... ok la..

Gara2 Mawi & Marsha not selected to top 12 finalists... banyak baa sia nampak petiton kana buat di internet to protest the jury's decision. Ada yg sampai mau suruh government kasi ban ini program... Sia sukung juga la kalau diharamkan... kasi abis duit rakyat dan kasi untung sama syarikat telecommuncation & astro saja bai tu... RM0.50 per sms vote oo... imagine baa... 50 sms sia buli bagi sama 'lover' sia tu kalau RM0.50...

Tapi nda paya la ba sampai mau ban... kasi discount saja tu sms vote... make it RM0.10 or RM0.20 ka satu vote... untung juga baa astro sama maxis tu.. hehee... rakyat pun nda brapa rugi maa...

I wonder brapa government tax astro & maxis bayar? sia rasa mesti tinggi that's why goverment kasi green light saja sama ni program... aiks... mcm lain bahasa sia ni... mcm sia nda suka sama kerajaan sia sendiri... tapi, gini la ba politic kan... kalau teda pembangkang, bukan democratic suda tu...

Anyway... sia vote saturang saja ni.... kamurang pun vote la untuk dia...

What a day!!!!!

Feeling bad right now over many things. My friend told me that her lover whom she knew through internet is married but admitting he is single and available. I am now worrying about my condition. One mustn't trust a person easilty especially from the internet. That's one thing.

This morning,when I wake up; I heard from television 'Liverpool is appealing from UEFA to get a place in the Champions League next season.' So I already knew AC Milan lost on the grand final last night. I don't know what was the final score. That's another thing.

My colleague Nora told me that she has to take the 'leave' on the 6th June, whereby I have already planned to go cruising with my friends on that day. She just won't tolarate but she expect me to tolerate on her action. How good it is if we have one more colleague so the two of us can take the same day leave.

How am I supposed to decide?

Over the married-internet-lover thing... I trust him, I mean 'mine'. But I must find out more before everything is too late.

About AC Milan losing to Liverpool... I just hope the final score is not 'whatever-the-score-of-liverpool - 0 on AC Milan. At least I hope AC Milan is not '0'.

About the leave taking on the 6th June, I will still continue on with my plan and will make Nora to tolerate this time.

OK.... tonight or rather tomorrow (2am) is the grand UEFA Final in Istanbul featuring the Rossoneri (AC Milan) VS the Reds (Liverpool). How am I feeling righ now??? I AM VERY NERVOUS. I WANT MILAN TO WIN!!!!!

Girls on Street (1989-1991)

Because we were extreme fans of New Kids On The Block, the five of us formed a group imitating NKOTB. We called ourselves ‘Girls on street’ we were 9 & 10 yrs of age. When I think of it today, it was silly but still sweet. When I see the little girls nowadays, they don’t have the imagination like we did.

We walked home from school everyday… together… All the five of us are from the same village of Kg. Bambangan. We live very near to each other. There were always after-school programs we did, such as; playing seashells, Barbie Dolls, plastersin (however is the spelling... I believe u know what it is) etc.

Because we were from the same village, our parents did not worry about us when we went home late (7pm) after ‘mansau’. Our parents always knew where we were, whom we with.

And today we have our own carrier and still keeping in touch but no longer living near to each other….

Nantung

My mother called it 'nantung' other part of Sabah call it 'ambuyat' in Malay it is called 'sagu'. But the type that the Malays sell in their market is different. So my kind of; as far as I know only sold in Sabah. This is actually a starch made of palm or tapioca. I got it from a relative sending to us via courier. It's very easy to prepare... just add little cold water and stir adding boiling water and stir keep stir until it will turn into gluey form. The nantung with a little cold water. Ready to eat...

This is a main course and we eat it by soaking it in a soup. Actually the soup is the flavour.. normally we go with tamarind fish soup and chilli in a prawn paste (belacan) as sauce. Hehe... mcm sadappp..... Cost for this feast: nantung RM1 per packet of 800gm. for 5. Fish: RM4. Cheap and yummy....

After 5 days

Sia pikir dia suda lupa sia... kali ini paling lama la dia teda sms sia... Kalau dulu 3 hari saja paling lama trus dia akan pigi tampat yg ada line utk sms sama saya to tell me yg dia rindu sia... It won't be long now Dear.... just spend your precious time there with your relatives, have a good time with you nieces & nephews. Spend some special moments with your father and your other siblings... and most of all, create something worth remembering there in your bornland. Because, next thing... is me whom you will spend you liftime with. I miss you too...

My first experience in the slimming saloon

It was good!! Being treated like a queen getting all the special treatment & attention I think it's worth the money I spent!!!!First of all... I was asked to strip-off (not all) my baju... with a robe... they call it kimono.. "No need to be shy... we are all the same... put on your kimono." Miss Mindy (a Chinese 23 yr old lady, Ceceilia Cheung look-alike) said. She then took me to the sauna room.. I have no idea what was the temperature... for 20 minutes... and God.. it was hot and I sweat... it's not my first sauna though... but I never stayed in a sauna for 20 minutes.. there was a timer to tell me to get out of the room. Then.. she gave me a glass of water to drink... and took me to another room... "Now... take off the kimono.. I would like to apply chilli cream.." again I was shy... but not really la.. coz she's friendly and younger than me. I informed them that I don't speak Mandarin.. and Miss Mindy and her asisstant try so hard to speak to me in English... hehe... Then.. they wrapped me with a transparent plastic.. so tight.. the idea is to keep my skin firm.. with help from the chilli extract cream... to burn fats and firm up my skin... then I lie down on a PVC bed where I get my treatment called G5... by using the machine that vibrates (as strong as drill to break cement in a construction site.. according to my imagination la)shen then press on some areas on my body using the machine... this method is to break the cellulite... for 10 minutes... I was then took to another room for hot blanket... this is a another PVC bed with PVC electrical blanket... I was covered in the blanket... and it was hot... for 20 minutes again.... this was the final treatment... after 20 minutes Miss Mindy cut off the plastic wrapping with a scissor... U still reading ka? till here???? cool....

Well that's it... my next appointment will be on the 27th May... RM2230 for 10 treatments... and I think after 30 -40 treatments... I will reach my goal.. so much to money to spent in this failing economy I hope I am doing the right thing. Amen. OK babai...
